this officially marks the moment of me being done my semester of university. all those essays and exams are completed and in the past. i have to admit, my third year is passing by much quicker than i want it to... i am just starting to appreciate my classes! i guess it helps that i am finally studying something i love.

aujourd'hui, il pleut. j'aimerais bien qu'il neige. je doit écrire mon examen de français aujourd'hui et ensuite completer ma dissertation sur l'art byzantin. j'attend avec impatience la dernière journée des cours, qui est mercredi!!

these photographs are so pretty! i really wish i had never quit ballet as a child...

once this crazy semester is over, my aiyana promises she will teach me bits of ballet <3 after we spend a day or so cleaning this apartment! it has kind of been neglected for a while now... but that's just what exams do to a couple of girls! our new apartment is simply beautiful. it has wooden floors, the cutest little pantry in the kitchen, and antique keyholes on the doors! it reminds me so much of the house from my childhood. we even have a whole backyard to ourselves with space for a garden next summer! all that is missing is a kitten. but we'll be getting one of those next semester, fingers crossed!

these past three weeks have been truly testing my skills as an art history student. i honestly don't understand how i have been getting each essay done, and studying for every exam. it's like i've been stuck in some strange dream state, unaffected by time. i have, however, learnt a lot about myself as a student, and i am truly having an exceptionally inspiring year at school. i am simply in love with art history!

last weekend i went to see my aiyana's dance performance. she was showing a piece she had choreographed, called spectre innocence. it was perfectly beautiful, and i am so unbelievably proud of her! i was so happy to see her creation come to life, and to see her dancing.
