ph: personalyay for more art!
this was drawn when i was in grade 11, i believe... it was for our final art assignment, and we had to create a fantasy landscape. i borrowed the idea of a balloon tree from a children's book i remember adoring as a child. the bark on the tree is actually real white birch bark! hooray for adventures at 3 in the morning, in the sticky summer heat, crawling through spider webs to scrape bark off of your mother's favourite birch tree! :D
i will admit, this isn't one of my best pieces... i mean, look at that 1-dimensional floor, and those walls and doors! but i think the idea is cute, anyways.
today means studying for that human anatomy exam. i'm kind of excited, because i actually really do love that class!
