today, it is raining, and i feel there is no better way to spend the day than to bake a bunch of cookies and watch movies with my aiyana. after we tidy up the bedroom, of course. i can never understand how this room can get so messy so easily... i suppose i may spend some time today decluttering. i think it's time to admit i own way too much clothing...

today, i finally get to hug my aiyana tighter than ever before! i've missed her so much <3 it always seems the days pass by slowly when she is gone...

tomorrow, we both go home to my family! hopefully there is some easter chocolate awaiting me! besides that, i have missed the country dearly, and i am excited to get some adventure time in.
also, this marks my last week as a nineteen year old :( twenty seems so scary...

i am finally done all my exams, and yesterday my ayiana and i moved into our summer apartment! it is a cute little loft over a bakery in our favourite area, and we live with two artistic girlies!

today, i am going to an art show, downtown, where one of my friends and her photography class will be showing their work. i am so excited to dress up pretty and spend an evening on the town <3 it's been a couple days now of bum clothes and messy hair, so makeup and dresses are very enticing today!

If you look closely, you will see
Her arms stretching across the sky;
Her sweet smiles covered in grey.
Lake of the sky, fall not below the ocean line
Deep blue, you hold no reflection.
You drop mirrors, caress the earth with dusk feathers.
Hidden shards of glass, step lightly.
Colour shot across the sky
Running in lines, through her veins
Liquid colour, rush of noise.
An endless chase, never to reach her side;
She runs, quicksilver static remaining ever still.
Light, reach not through
For fear she dissolves into grey sheets of down
Undo her charm, radiance dead.
Leaving not a trace of her memory
As if it never once were

nothing much has happened today worth telling. i am not getting nearly as much studying done as i would like, however...
